I was listening to a song on the radio when I heard this lyric sentence. It just made me LOL in the car.
A midnight sun?
It’s a total oxy-moron when you think about it unless you change the context of the words. When someone says midnight, the image that comes into your head is the black coloured sky. Darkness. I can accept if her eyes are golden or shining like the sun, piercing through the night. So it’s like a sun even within darkness. However for it to be a ‘midnight sun’ means that the sun has got no more light, so how is that a good thing that her eyes are like the midnight sun?
